It’s always “revenge won’t give you back what you lost” and “murder is wrong” and never how was the bloody violent revenge the bloody violent revenge looked fun was it fun
when i was post op after top surgery i had a good friend there with me to help recover. but the nurse didnt get the memo and when i woke up she was like “ok i’m gonna go get your girlfriend and bring her in to see you!” and i remember being so zonked on anesthesia and so disoriented i just laid there thinking wow…… all that an they’re bringing me a girlfriend too this place is amazing
the way these strikes get framed is always so funny to me
“the strike could stretch on until the end of summer” or the execs could pay their workers
“there won’t be ANY new shows because of this strike” or the execs could pay their workers
“no more content for us because the mean old writers and actors are-” OR THE EXECS COULD PAY THEIR WORKERS
if i was in the spiderverse movies i personally wouldn’t let the guy who destroyed an entire dimension be in charge of the elite task force of dimension hopping spiderpeople. i would maybe pick someone else . but that is just me
me if i was in the elite taskforce after watching miguel absolutely wail on a 15 year old: hey. i don’t wanna be that guy but should we like …….. maybe impeach him or something . yeah no i know he’s hot. yeah mhm. see my thing is that i think that was probably an hr violation . also i heard he wasn’t even bitten by a spider
They said the quiet part outloud and are upset everyone’s mad at them.

Hollywood Studios’ WGA Strike Endgame Is To Let Writers Go Broke Before Resuming Talks In Fall.
July 11, 2023 7:12pm
By Dominic PattenWarner Bros Discovery, Apple, Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Paramount and others have become determined to “break the WGA,” as one studio exec blatantly put it.
To do so, the studios and the AMPTP believe that by October most writers will be running out of money after five months on the picket lines and no work.
“The endgame is to allow things to drag on until union members start losing their apartments and losing their houses,” a studio executive told Deadline.

Word on the street… The AMPTP was split on publishing their comically evil “kick WGA writers out of their homes” Deadline piece — and were SCREAMING at each other on a video call after it backfired.
Stay strong actors and writers, the companies are terrified.
